Vivo isn’t done with new phone releases just yet. Vivo’s iQOO sub-brand is now distributing the identical phones with a new name in India, after introducing the T1 series across the world.
The iQOO Z6 44W and Z6 Pro have been released by the company. The Z6 44W is based on the Vivo T1 5G from India, but the Z6 Pro is similar to the Malaysian T1 5G that was only introduced a few days ago.
Here’s the deal with the two gadgets:
The iQOO Z6 44W resembles the Vivo T1 5G (Malaysia) in appearance, however there are a few variations, such as the processor, quick charging, and refresh rate.
The phone features the same 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, however it only has a 60Hz refresh rate rather than a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 778G SoC has been replaced with the Snapdragon 680, although the memory configuration remains same at 8GB/128GB with no SD card port. There are various memory choices with 4GB and 6GB RAM that are less expensive.
The 64MP camera has been lowered to 50MP, and a pair of 2MP depth and macro cameras have been added. Although the battery capacity has been increased to 5,000 mAh, the 66W rapid charging has been reduced to 44W.
The Z6 Pro, on the other hand, is a carbon copy of the Vivo T1 5G in Malaysia. It sports the same 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz as the previous model. The Snapdragon 778G chipset is also intact, and the camera configuration features a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The battery specifications are similar, with a 4,700 mAh cell and 66W rapid charging.
