Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.O) announced on Thursday that it would discontinue its CNN+ streaming news service less than a month after it launched.

According to the media company, news will be part of a broader streaming offering that will also include sports, entertainment, and nonfiction. It announced that it would discontinue the nascent streaming service in order to focus its resources on CNN’s core news-gathering operations.

“Our customers and CNN will benefit most from a simpler streaming option,” said Worldwide Chairman and CEO Chris Licht in a statement.
