HCL Technologies has launched an innovation centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, focused on engineering and research and development, to act as a hub for its teams to co-innovate with customers and address challenging business challenges for clients.
“The Edmonton Innovation Centre marks a major increase in our world-class technological skills and great engineering presence in Canada,” said Joelien Jose, executive vice president and country head for HCL Technologies Canada. “Engineering-led digital transformation is poised to redefine the corporate landscape, and our Edmonton Centre’s facilities provide the ideal setting for influencing the future of the IT sector.”
An engineering and co-innovation lab will be housed in the Edmonton Centre, allowing hitech and software clients to not only envisage their ideas, but also to observe quick product development, collaborative research, and continuous learning to reduce time to market.
Clients can use the centre to design new products and collaborate on go-to-market strategies. Product engineering, platform engineering, operational technology services, and R&D will all be part of the Edmonton team’s responsibilities.
